PPF or Ceramic Coating – What’s the Difference?

Paint Protection Film and ceramic coating both help protect your vehicle, but they work in different ways.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a clear protective film applied directly to the paintwork. It is designed to provide a physical barrier against stone chips, road debris, light scratches and other everyday damage.

Ceramic Coating is a liquid coating applied to the paintwork to enhance gloss, improve water repellency and make the vehicle easier to clean and maintain.

For the highest level of protection, the two can also be combined — using PPF on the most vulnerable areas and ceramic coating over the remaining paintwork.
